It's good to be back.
The Month of Love
As most of my friends know I just got back from THE BAHAMA'S! Yes! I finally took time off work and escaped from my crazy day-to-day schedule! And I must say...
Thank God I Am Back!
I have learned that while vacations are nice, they are not for everyone. Yes the sun was hot, dolphins are fabulous, and spending time with Steve was top notch; I cannot stand not being productive. Damn this Type A "everything needs to be perfectly scheduled" personality.
Since I have returned, I have been such a busy bee at work and at home. Trying (kind of ) to get a head in my classes, get Mary Kay orders together, research new marketing ideas, and spending 40+ hours a week at the accounting firm.
I totally love the busy-ness of my life. Sometimes I love to complain about it, but it is all self-inflicted and needed. This week my focus is on finding new organizational skills.
I have been cutting post-its into ten yellow strips and writing the names of everyone that I need to call back and placing them in the appropriate time slot on my day planner! I have been making 5 orange post-it strips and writing the names of everyone I need to meet with and placing them in the appropriate spot! They do NOT get written in my date book in pen until I have double confirmed the time with them! I am so tired of this scratching stuff out and rescheduling bullshit. A messy planner makes for a messy mind and I can't have it!
Oh yeah! It's almost Valentine's Day and I GOT A PUPPY! She's an 8 week old Shorkie named Zoie! More pictures to come!
